Based on my own dyslexic experiences as a teacher and exam marker, I have been able to produce a range of popular resources that guide students through writing tasks. A strength of the expertise I have is the strongly visual focus of my materials. I know of no other system that is as sympathetic to dyslexic students attempting to write extended assignments. This is because the system combines my knowledge of psychology, exam marking and student needs. I’ve been able to test my materials thoroughly over seven years of teaching. They have had proven success.

Insight & Impact

I am a trained teacher, having completed various relevant qualifications such as a PGCE and a dyslexia study support qualification with the Open University (OCR Level 7 equivalent). I teach a variety of students, including university level tutees, strategies for writing their assignments based on producing effective sequences for their ideas.

Skills needed for this project

  • Video editing experience would be helpful, but not essential.
  • Marketing experience would be necessary; although I have some contacts who may be able to supply this need.
